While having fun on playgrounds, children should be protected as much as possible, this should be taken care of with the help of safety zones to avoid injuries.
Today, together with BRAMA, we will consider the standards of safety zones for children's equipment.

A sandbox is a traditional element of any park or outdoor children's area. Sandboxes can be equipped with a cover or tables, on which it will be convenient for children to play. The safe zone for a sandbox is about 1 meter.

Children's playhouse - such entertainment will decorate any playground. They are equipped with calculators, tables, benches and interactive panels. Safety zone - 1 meter.

Children's slide. Children's slides with a descent height of up to 1 meter are suitable for children under 3 years of age. A descent height of up to 1.5 meters is suitable for children aged 3-7 years, and about 2-2.5 meters for older children. The descent of any slide must be equipped with side boards with a height of at least 12 cm and end with a horizontal braking platform, so that the child can stop smoothly, without shocks and injuries. The safety zone of the slide is 1-1.5 meters around it and about 2 meters before the descent.

Swing on a spring. The required safety zone on all sides is at least 1 meter.

Balancers. The radius of the safety zone is 1 meter.

The swing is one of the most favorite pastimes of children. For children under 6 years old, it is advisable to equip the swing with a seat with a back.
The swing has a large safety radius of 3.5-5 meters depending on the height and amplitude of swinging.
